Integrated Hood Cleaning
An integrated hood is built into the cupboard above the hob, so you mostly see a slim panel. The filters and the shallow body still hold grease. Book it when the cupboard edge is sticky or the fan seems weak for its size.

Not this visit
- We do not repair or replace the fan motor, wiring, or switches.
- We do not fit a new hood or alter the duct route.
- A whole-kitchen or oven clean is a different visit.
- We do not issue a compliance certificate for a commercial extract system.
Signs it is time
- Sticky cupboard rail
- A thin hood that no longer clears steam
- Filters you cannot slide out easily because of grease
What changes the quote
Integrated hoods are smaller, but they are fiddlier. The quote depends on whether the panel releases cleanly and whether the filters are mesh or a charcoal cassette.
DIY and after the visit
Forcing a stuck visor can crack the panel. If it will not slide, stop and book the visit rather than levering it.
You can cook again once the metal is dry and the filters are back in. A light film of new grease is normal after the next fry-up. Book again when filters look loaded or the fan smells of old oil as soon as it starts.
